Pros
- •Excellent navigation that deftly avoids pet toys, cords, and complex obstacles like table and chair legs without getting stuck.
- •The floor washing function impresses with 100% clean hardwood floors and no smearing, thanks to the roller mop's wider coverage compared to dual rotating pads.
- •The All-in-One station automates mop washing, dirty water disposal, and clean water refills, significantly cutting down maintenance hassle.
- •The vacuum handles pet hair, pet messes (including vomit), and heavy debris efficiently without spreading or smearing.
- •Multi-floor tracking works well, allowing seamless use between different levels without losing settings.
- •App offers helpful cleaning warnings and troubleshooting guidance, along with scheduling for multiple rooms throughout the day.
- •Quick, clear, and reliable customer support has been praised for fast replacement of defective units.
- •Self-cleaning brush and onboard dirty water tank reduce the frequency of returns to base, enhancing cleaning convenience.
- •Maintenance-friendly design with removable tanks, magnetic parts, and easy disassembly for thorough cleaning.
- •Strong 8000 Pa suction is an upgrade over previous models and works well on various floor types including hardwood, laminate, and gym flooring.
Cons
- •Maintenance is needed more often than initially implied, especially cleaning the dirty water reservoir; leaks can cause dirty water spots on floors.
- •Documentation is poor with missing images and unclear instructions, making setup and troubleshooting frustrating.
- •Online support communication can be confusing, with hard-to-expand messages and inability to copy critical device info easily.
- •Vacuum performance is good but doesn't quite match up to other top-tier models if vacuuming is your primary focus.
- •Some mats, especially memory foam or bathroom mats, cause the robot to get stuck or pushed into piles unless blocked.
- •Scheduling bugs have been reported, such as mop activating on unscheduled days, though some improvements have been noted over time.
- •Cancelling cleaning cycles wastes cleaning solution without clear information whether unused solution is saved or discarded.
- •Occasional brush parts can detach due to strings wrapped around them, requiring manual cleaning to restore function.
- •The product sometimes misses or damages floor edges initially, only improving after some use.
- •Replacement parts can be pricey, and customer support experiences vary, with some users reporting frustrating or unhelpful interactions.
Bottom Line
The eufy Robot Vacuum Omni S1 Pro excels as an all-in-one floor cleaning powerhouse for homes with pets and mixed floor types, combining strong suction with outstanding mopping and smart obstacle avoidance. Its automated mop washing station is a game-changer for reducing maintenance time, though expect to clean the dirty water tank fairly often to prevent leaks. While vacuuming is strong, it’s really the mopping and convenience that make this product shine. Poor documentation and some app quirks hold it back slightly, but reliable customer support and ongoing firmware improvements help. If vacuum suction is your absolute priority, exploring higher-end dedicated vacuum robots might be wise, but for an integrated vacuum-and-mop solution that handles pet messes and floor washing with ease, this is a top contender.
