Pros
- •Delivers long-lasting power that consistently outperforms many typical AA batteries in devices like remotes, clocks, and toys.
- •Exceptional shelf life, retaining charge for up to 12 years in storage, making them great for emergency or backup use.
- •Reliable and dependable for everyday use, reducing the need for frequent replacements.
- •Offers good value with solid, steady performance across a range of household devices.
- •Preferred by many users over other brands, including some Duracell and generic copper top batteries, for superior durability.
- •Performs well in outdoor applications, such as powering Christmas lights for prolonged periods without dying quickly.
- •Manufactured by Energizer, a trusted brand known for quality and consistency.
Cons
- •While these batteries last longer than many alkaline competitors, they don’t match the longevity of lithium batteries for high-drain or extended use.
- •No standout features beyond solid alkaline performance — if you need ultra-long battery life or specialized applications, lithium options might be better.
Bottom Line
Energizer E91BW12EM AA Max Alkaline batteries offer an excellent balance of durability, long shelf life, and value that suits most everyday household devices. If you're looking for reliable, long-lasting power at a fair price and prefer sticking with a reputable brand, these batteries will not disappoint. However, if your devices demand the absolute longest life (like for high-drain electronics or extreme conditions), lithium batteries might be worth considering instead for that extra endurance.
