Why this score?
The Elgato Ring Light achieves a high overall score thanks to its robust brightness output and versatile adjustable color settings, appealing to content creators and streamers. However, it faces criticism for issues related to build quality, particularly the flimsy mounts, which several customers experienced, alongside connectivity problems and occasional firmware update failures reported by users. Despite its high price, many appreciate its ease of use and integration within the Elgato ecosystem, making it a decent choice for those prioritizing lighting quality over accessory reliability.
