Cons
- •The bag dispenser on the back is too small and does not work well with the included bag rolls, limiting its usefulness.
- •While the can fits 20-gallon bags, some users found that the bag compartment isn't sized well for bulkier or larger bags.
- •The pedal requires a bit of getting used to in terms of pressure and response.
- •Some may find the size a bit large if kitchen space is very tight, despite the slim vertical design.
Bottom Line
The EKO Hudson Slim 50L trash can is a stylish, durable, and highly functional kitchen companion with a generous capacity and thoughtful features like a soft-close lid and odor filter. It’s especially perfect for those who want a sleek, modern look combined with practical design elements like secure bag placement and bag storage. Just be aware that the bag dispenser is a bit underwhelming, so don’t count on it to hold many bags or bulky ones. Overall, if you want a space-saving yet roomy and reliable garbage can for your kitchen, this is a solid choice that feels worth the investment. If the bag dispenser is a dealbreaker, you might want to consider other models with a larger or better bag storage system, but for most users, the EKO Hudson Slim checks all the right boxes.
