eero 6+ Mesh WiFi Router (Refurbished)
Pros
- •Setup is incredibly easy and quick, often taking less than 30 minutes even for three units, guided smoothly by the dedicated app.
- •Significantly expands wireless coverage, reliably covering large homes up to around 4500 sq. ft., including porches and outdoor areas like sheds.
- •Handles connection for 75+ devices effectively, maintaining high speeds and strong signal strength consistently.
- •Provides real-world internet speeds up to 500 Mbps, allowing smooth streaming, video calls, and fast downloads without freezing or buffering.
- •The app automatically updates firmware, ensuring seamless maintenance without user intervention.
- •Refurbished units function just like brand new devices, offering great value with Amazon-certified warranty coverage.
- •Improves connectivity markedly compared to older routers and traditional extenders, eliminating dead zones and frequent dropout issues.
- •Compact and visually unobtrusive design fits well on desks or shelves.
- •Compatible with existing older Eero units, enabling easy expansion of your mesh network.
- •Recommended by technicians as a solid upgrade for better speed and coverage.
Cons
- •Despite strong overall performance, some users might find the real-world speeds topping out at about 500 Mbps, which is good but not the full gigabit potential advertised.
- •Coverage might still require careful planning based on home layout and size—some larger or complex homes could need additional nodes beyond the included three.
- •Since this is a refurbished product, some buyers may prefer a brand-new unit for peace of mind, though warranty coverage mitigates that concern.
Bottom Line
The Restored eero 6+ mesh WiFi router is a fantastic budget-friendly way to boost your home network’s speed and coverage without sacrificing reliability or ease of use. Its simple app setup and strong signal expansion up to 4500 sq. ft. make it ideal for large households or smart home setups with many connected devices. If you want brand-new hardware or the absolute fastest gigabit experience, you might want to explore newer or higher-end models, but for excellent performance at a lower price with a trusted warranty, this refurbished set is a smart pick.
