Cons
- •Rim and gap for securing trash bags are ineffective, causing bags to slip off easily
- •Opening the lid can displace the trash bag securing mechanism, complicating bag removal
- •Removing full trash bags may require tilting the bin, risking wobbling or structural stress
- •The base tray is not reinforced and could break with frequent use or heavy waste
- •Some reviews noted the lid perimeter lifts when opened, which can cause bag security issues
- •Frequent use and repetitive actions might compromise hinges and overall durability over time
- •Initial bag security issues, though reportedly improved with replacement liners and customer support
- •The rim design does not fully conceal or lock bags in place, leading to potential mess
Bottom Line
This outdoor trash can offers a sleek look, weather-resistant build, and large capacity, making it suitable for patios, backyards, or decks. However, the bag securing mechanism lacks reliability—bags can slip off or be displaced during use. If you’re looking for a more foolproof bag containment system, you might want to consider alternatives with rims that click or fully conceal bags. Nonetheless, its durability, style, and ease of use make it a solid choice if you can manage the bag security concern.
