Pros
- •Provides a strong, long-lasting hold that performs well on a variety of materials including rubber cord, metal, ceramics, plastics, and wood.
- •Dries clear, resulting in a discreet and visually appealing finish.
- •Minimal to no odor during application, making the experience more pleasant than many other adhesives.
- •Versatile for both household repairs and craft projects, including holiday or delicate tasks.
- •Wipes off hands easily if spilled, aiding in clean usage.
- •Reliable under pressure, maintaining adhesion even with rough handling or movement.
- •Bonds effectively to materials that are usually difficult to glue together.
- •Lasted nearly two years with occasional use, demonstrating good durability.
- •Tube is small and convenient for precise application.
Cons
- •Bonds slowly, requiring patience before the adhesive fully sets; curing beyond 24 hours improves bond strength.
- •The cap design is problematic, allowing air in and causing the adhesive to dry out inside the tube.
- •Frequently requires poking a hole in the cap to loosen it, which is inconvenient and a hassle.
- •The product includes multiple safety warnings directly on the tube but does not come with usage instructions or a display card, forcing users to look up proper application separately.
- •Small tube size can be inconvenient for larger projects needing more adhesive.
Bottom Line
If you're looking for a reliable, industrial-strength adhesive that dries clear and works well on a wide variety of materials, the Eclectic 570110 E6000+Plus Multipurpose Adhesive is a solid choice—especially for crafting and repairs where precision and durability matter. Just be prepared for slow drying times and some frustration with the cap design that can affect freshness. For larger projects or if you want packaging with clear usage instructions, you might want to explore some other multipurpose adhesives or those with improved user-friendly packaging and faster curing times.
