Dyson PencilVac Fluffycones Vacuum
Pros
- •Dyson’s Hyperdymium™ motor delivers surprisingly strong suction in a compact, ultra-slim design that easily cleans hard floors and small spaces.
- •The Fluffycones™ cleaner head spins on the spot and features four conical brush bars, effectively removing fine dust and long hair without tangling.
- •Lightweight and well-balanced, it’s comfortable for one-handed use, making it ideal for stairs, ceilings, and tight spots.
- •LED illumination lights up dust and debris from all directions, ensuring you don’t miss a thing during cleaning.
- •The magnetic charging dock provides neat storage and quick grab-and-go access, perfect for small homes or apartments.
- •Dustbin emptying is hygienic and reduces dust clouds, helping keep maintenance cleaner and easier.
- •Battery life delivers up to 30 minutes of fade-free suction, sufficient for quick daily cleanups in homes up to around 1500 sq ft.
- •The vacuum’s compact form and intuitive handling make it great for spot cleaning, especially on hard floors, with smooth gliding and easy maneuvering near edges.
- •Features MyDyson™ app support for personalized machine settings and maintenance guidance.
- •Sleek, modern appearance fits well in small spaces and looks stylish enough to leave out.
Cons
- •The dustbin is smaller and can become cumbersome to empty when dealing with lots of hair or debris compared to full-size Dyson models.
- •Runtime of roughly 20-30 minutes is limited and charging takes about 2 hours, which means longer cleaning sessions may require breaks or multiple charges.
- •Some users under 5'6" find the size ideal, but taller users may experience discomfort from crouching during use.
- •The vacuum can shut off its rollers when encountering carpet edges, requiring a manual reset by pressing the power button twice, which interrupts cleaning flow.
- •Battery charge display shows a QR code and app advertisement rather than a consistent percentage, which some find inconvenient for monitoring remaining runtime.
- •Best performance is on hard floors or light debris; it may struggle or require repeated passes on thick carpets or heavy pet hair.
- •The dustbin fills quickly during larger cleaning tasks, limiting extended use without emptying.
Bottom Line
The Dyson PencilVac™ Fluffycones is a stylish, ultra-slim cordless vacuum that shines in quick, everyday cleaning—especially on hard floors and in smaller living spaces. It pairs strong suction power with thoughtful design touches like hygienic bin emptying and LED dust illumination, but its smaller dustbin and shorter battery runtime mean it’s less suited for deep cleaning larger homes or carpets. If you want premium cordless convenience for spot cleaning and tight spaces with reliable suction, this model is a solid pick. However, if you need longer runtime or better carpet performance, consider exploring full-size Dyson cordless models instead.
