Cons
- •The handle design lacks grip, making it somewhat easy to drop when carrying.
- •The lightweight base can be tipped over easily if bumped, which may concern households with pets, kids, or elders despite the safety cut-off.
- •The heater does not display the actual room temperature, only the set temperature, limiting troubleshooting or precise monitoring.
- •The plug and cord can get warm during operation, requiring some caution.
- •Eco mode can cause noticeable power cycling noise at night for some users.
- •When turned off, the heater blows cold air to cool down, which might feel uncomfortable initially depending on positioning.
Bottom Line
The Dreo Space Heater is a solid choice if you want fast, quiet, and efficient heating for larger rooms or tricky spaces with draft issues. Its safety features and remote control add convenience and peace of mind, making it great for bedrooms, offices, and even garages with pets. Just be cautious if you have energetic pets or kids, as the lightweight base can be tipped over more easily than sturdier models and handle grip could be better. If you want a heater with actual room temperature display or a more stable base, you might want to explore alternate models. But overall, this gold-colored Dreo strikes a nice balance between performance, safety, and ease of use.
