Bottom Line
The DEWALT DCST970B FLEXVOLT 60V MAX String Trimmer demonstrates excellent cutting power and convenience for smaller yards. However, it's plagued by significant overheating and motor reliability issues, making it unsuitable for larger areas or extended use. If you find yourself needing a reliable option, consider investing in a model with a better track record for durability and fewer maintenance concerns.
