- •The narrow, tall, and skinny base at higher heights may reduce stability and increase tipping risk
- •The base width is almost as wide as the seat itself, potentially affecting overall stability when elevated
- •Casters, while durable, lack some ease of movement compared to higher-end models
- •Slight tip hazard when leaning back heavily, though manageable during normal use
- •Optional flat feet for increased stability are not included by default
- •Some users find the height adjustment range to be somewhat limited for their needs
Bottom Line
The DEWALT DXSTAH025 adjustable shop stool offers a robust, comfortable, and versatile seating option for busy workshops or garages. Its sturdy build and smooth wheels make it a dependable choice, but be aware of slight stability issues at higher elevations and stiff casters. If you need a more maneuverable option or greater stability at full height, you might consider looking at stools with wider bases or softer casters.
