Cons

- •Port selection is somewhat sparse, with only two HDMI ports and one DisplayPort, which may restrict connectivity options for users with multiple devices.
- •Built-in speakers, while decent, don’t provide robust bass or rich audio quality for multimedia enthusiasts.
- •Some users found the image quality somewhat mediocre or average, suggesting it’s not ideal for serious color-critical work without additional calibration tools.
- •USB-C functionality, though present, has mixed testing experiences reported, so full reliability may depend on your setup.
Bottom Line
The Dell S2722DC is a strong all-rounder 27-inch QHD monitor featuring great color accuracy, ergonomic flexibility, and solid build quality, perfect for professionals who need crisp visuals without diving deep into color management. Its bright IPS panel and smooth 75Hz refresh rate make it good for general productivity, light gaming, and multimedia on a budget-friendly scale. However, if you require advanced color calibration features or richer audio, you might want to explore higher-end options tailored to creative work or external audio solutions. Overall, it strikes a nice balance between premium aesthetics and practical functionality to fit most office or home setups with ease.
