Pros
- •Made from the finest tomatoes grown in the USA.
- •Contains no artificial flavors or preservatives.
- •Uses natural sea salt for seasoning.
Cons
- •The product contains chunky pieces instead of being finely diced as labeled.
- •Not suitable for those who specifically desire diced tomatoes.
- •Incorrect labeling led to disappointment in texture expectations.
- •Inconsistency in product description may discourage future purchases.
Bottom Line
Del Monte Canned Diced Tomatoes are high-quality with no preservatives, but if you're expecting finely diced tomatoes for easy incorporation into dishes, the chunkier pieces might be a letdown. If texture precision is key for your meal prep, it might be worth considering alternatives.
