Bottom Line
The Dayton Audio CS1200 offers surprisingly strong and accurate bass for its size and price, making it a solid choice for those needing additional low-end punch without breaking the bank. While it benefits from proper placement and calibration, its build quality and performance generally surpass expectations for a subwoofer in this price range. If you need even deeper bass or more refined aesthetics, you might want to explore larger models or different brands, but for most users seeking impactful sound in smaller spaces, this model hits the mark.
