- •Single-ingredient nature (100% Beef Liver) praised for health benefits and low calories.
- •Packaging is a resealable bag, keeping treats fresh for longer periods.
- •Light color makes them easy for dogs to see during training exercises.
- •Highly recommended by trainers and even used in prominent veterinary programs.
Cons
- •Recent increase in size renders them less convenient for training small dogs without cutting them down.
- •Some dogs have experienced health issues such as diarrhea and vomiting after consumption.
- •Increases in treat size contradict the low calorie claim on packaging, potentially misleading for diet management.
- •Reports of finding odd shreds of material within bags raise concerns about quality control.
- •New size and texture changes make them unsuitable for original purposes, leading to disappointment among loyal customers.
Bottom Line
The Crumps' Naturals Mini Trainers Freeze Dried Beef Liver dog treats may have once been perfect for training due to their size and low calorie formulation, but recent changes have raised concerns. If your pet is small or sensitive, exercise caution, as some users reported health issues. If the treat size poses a problem, you might want to hold off until seller adjustments are made. These treats are best for dog owners committed to carefully managing treat sizes or willing to use them as occasional treats instead of frequent training rewards.
