- •Holds a substantial amount of ink, lasting through multiple uses, ideal for writing on a large quantity such as 250 envelopes.
- •Vivid colors enhance projects, particularly on dark paper.
- •Convenient compatibility with Cricut machines, including the Explore One.
- •Smooth gliding on the machine ensures consistent ink flow and bold lines.
- •Ideal for special occasions like addressing wedding invitations due to its almost handwritten appearance.
Cons
- •Higher price attributed to the Cricut brand, with comparable products available under other brands.
- •Some pens arrived dried out or leaking, raising concerns about quality control.
- •Not suitable for intricate writing due to the medium point tip.
- •Colors like blue and purple may fade back to silver once dry, especially on darker paper.
Bottom Line
The Cricut 2002951 Pen Set offers a vibrant, metallic finish that enhances crafting projects and works seamlessly with Cricut machines. However, quality control issues such as dried-out pens and ink fading may make alternatives from brands like American Crafts and Recollections worth considering for budget-conscious crafters.
