- •Offers strong positive results when used with a sublimation oven.
Cons
- •Initial IOS update issues are frustrating, requiring multiple attempts and often needing an Android device.
- •Device frequently shows an E05 error after minimal use, with reports of reliability concerns.
- •Customer service is reportedly unhelpful and unresponsive when dealing with these errors and replacements.
- •Lacks comprehensive manual information for temperature variations across different applications.
- •Takes significant time to cool down and requires more storage space due to its design.
- •Manual pressure application is necessary to ensure proper vinyl adherence, adding to user effort.
Bottom Line
The Cricut EasyPress 3 is a capable smart heat press machine with precise temperature control and a user-friendly app experience, ideal for craft enthusiasts already invested in Cricut products. However, notable issues with reliability, particularly with error codes and IOS update frustrations, hamper its appeal. Given the persistent problems with the device and subpar customer service, consider a conventional alternative if ease and peace of mind are priorities.
