Pros
- •Effective for lightweight items like art prints and jewelry on well-prepared surfaces.
- •Installation is quick and simple, taking less than 5 minutes with proper cleaning.
- •Command Strips are ideal for renters to avoid wall damage.
- •Multiple sizes and shapes available to suit various needs.
- •Leaves no residue when removed, maintaining surface integrity when they work properly.
Cons
- •20% of the hooks fall off even when used correctly; inconsistency in performance.
- •Adhesion quality varies leading to hooks and objects falling off, sometimes damaging paint.
- •Not reliable for holding heavier items, such as diecast cars or pictures.
- •Removal can strip paint and damage walls, requiring repairs.
- •Some batches may contain old stock, reflecting potential quality control issues.
Bottom Line
Command Mini Hooks can be great for lightweight, temporary applications, especially for renters seeking a damage-free solution. However, users have reported inconsistent adhesion and potential damage during removal, which could be a deal-breaker for those with heavier items. For heavier or more permanent needs, considering alternative hooks might be wise.
