Cons

- •Requires adequate sunlight for optimal performance; diminishes on cloudy or rainy days.
- •Consistent issues with the on/off switch; unreliable in 'Auto' mode.
- •Battery life may be insufficient; some suggest considering low voltage alternatives.

- •Inconsistent performance despite good sunlight exposure.
- •Placement challenges over already beveled 6" posts; does not fit flush.
Bottom Line
The Classy Caps PVC Prestige Solar Post Cap offers a stylish and affordable lighting solution for your outdoor posts, providing a lovely ambient glow. However, its performance heavily depends on consistent and full sunlight exposure, and switch mechanics can be problematic. It may be best suited for locations with reliable sunlight, or consider alternative low voltage lighting options if reliability is a critical factor.
