Bottom Line
The Char-Broil Universal Fit H Burner is a sturdy, well-made burner that offers improved heat distribution and a reliable fit for older Char-Broil grills, especially when original parts are out of stock. However, buyers should be prepared for a bit of tinkering during installation and possibly manual ignition if the igniter fails. If you want a straightforward replacement without fuss, this burner delivers solid value, but if you prefer a turnkey solution with guaranteed igniter function, be ready to either replace the ignition system too or explore other options. If you need a burner that fits without modifications, checking out the original model-specific Char-Broil parts or looking for a burner explicitly designed for your grill model might save you installation headaches.
