Cons
- •Effectiveness is limited on trim that is not heavily faded.
- •Longevity may not meet expectations, with some reporting fading after just 4 weeks and 2 washes.
- •Requires careful application to avoid streaks and may need more product compared to similar items.
- •Some users noted an overly glossy finish on black trim and poor overall finish.
- •May require multiple wipes to cover all trim pieces.
Bottom Line
The CERAKOTE® Ceramic Trim Coat Kit is an excellent choice for restoring slightly to moderately faded black plastic and rubber surfaces. It effectively revitalizes trim, offering a factory-fresh appearance with long-lasting results. However, be prepared for potential reapplications if used on surfaces that aren't heavily faded. For those looking to restore heavily faded trims, alternative products might be worth exploring for possibly better durability.
