Cons
- •Image quality, while good for beginners, may feel only 'fair' or basic for more advanced photographers looking for professional-grade shots.
- •The kit lens aperture (F4.5-6.3) is relatively narrow, limiting performance in low light and shallow depth of field effects unless upgraded.

- •Limited weight and dimension specs could leave users curious about exact portability details.
Bottom Line
The Canon EOS R100 is a solid entry-level mirrorless camera that combines ease of use, decent image quality, and portability—perfect for beginners upgrading from smartphones or compact cameras. Its bundled accessories and Canon’s dependable build make it an excellent starter kit. However, serious photographers might find the kit lens limiting and may want to consider investing in higher-end lenses or exploring more advanced models as they progress. Overall, if you want a straightforward, capable camera for learning and casual shooting, this is a great option.
