Pros
- •Affordable alternative to OEM parts, costing about half as much.
- •Easy installation process with high-quality rubber and clips.
- •Effectively stops leaks at the top of the door.
- •Provides a tight seal after installation, expected to improve as the rubber settles.
- •Recommended for dealing with leak issues in a Jeep.
- •Offers great relief from previous flooding issues.
- •Stops leaks effectively during rain, reducing water intrusion.
Cons
- •Installation issues with misaligned plastic rivets/pins and oversized seal length.
- •The fit is inconsistent, with frequent reports of the product not fitting properly, especially on the passenger side.
- •Causes increased wind noise on the passenger side due to improper fit.
- •Does not effectively stop the common leak at the front of the door.
- •Light is visible inside the vehicle even with the door closed.
Bottom Line
The Camel Full Flavor King Box is a cost-effective replacement for OEM parts and performs well in stopping some leaks. However, it suffers from inconsistent fit issues and installation challenges that may not resolve common leaks at the front of the door. It might be worth considering alternative weather seal solutions for a better fit.
