Bush Champion Cucumber Seeds
Before you throw your cash at these cucumber (or surprise! pepper) seeds, remember it's a bit of a garden gamble. While some growers struck green gold, others watched their hopes (and seeds) fail to sprout. Considering a plan B might just save your salad dreams.
Pros
- •Sprouts began to break ground shortly after planting, ain't that a speedy little miracle?
- •The product boasts an emergence rate of 90% or higher with direct seeding, putting those green thumbs to good use.
- •High germination rate of 70% in spring and 100% in fall, because consistency is key, darling.
- •Produced one Godzilla of a cucumber - think a coke can in diameter and 14" long, because size does matter.
- •The flavor of the cucumber was excellent, making your taste buds tango.
- •Overwatering dilemma aside, the plant was a baby-making machine with loads of flowers and cucumbers.
- •Suitable for growing in southeast Louisiana with 90+ temperatures, because these seeds can take the heat.
Cons
- •The product received was a game of seed roulette, with pepper seeds showing up to a cucumber party.
- •The sassy reviewer advises not to waste money on this product, as no seeds germinated, talk about a party pooper.
- •Low rating alert: The product received a sad trombone sound with 1 out of 5 stars.
- •The customer received fewer seeds than they ordered, only 51 instead of the expected 60, because apparently counting is hard.
- •Seeds didn't germinate despite being coddled with natural and artificial heat for three months, proving you can't force love.
Bottom Line
Before you throw your cash at these cucumber (or surprise! pepper) seeds, remember it's a bit of a garden gamble. While some growers struck green gold, others watched their hopes (and seeds) fail to sprout. Considering a plan B might just save your salad dreams.
