- •The sound, while good for a small speaker, isn't immersive or as rich compared to larger Bose models

- •Customer service has been reported as unhelpful regarding software or hardware issues
Bottom Line
The Bose SoundLink Flex SE delivers impressive sound quality, durability, and portability, making it a solid choice for outdoor adventures and small gatherings. However, its software and stereo sync issues have been a point of frustration for many users—especially in multi-speaker setups or when using the app for volume and control. If you're looking for a rugged, well-performing Bluetooth speaker primarily for casual outdoor use and are okay with potential software hiccups, this model is worth considering. Otherwise, you might want to explore options with more reliable app support or stereo functionality, such as the Sony SRS-XB70 or Ultimate Ears Boom models.
