Pros
- •The Bombay Sapphire Gin is an excellent choice for cocktails, particularly in a negroni.
- •It performs well in taste tests compared to other gins.
- •Effective for making gimlets.
Cons
- •The 1.75 L size is larger than expected, which may be inconvenient for some.
- •Drinking it neat can be harsh on the throat.
- •Preferable to choose a different gin, like Hendricks, for sipping straight.
Bottom Line
Bombay Sapphire Gin is a versatile spirit that shines in cocktails like negronis and gimlets, making it a great choice for mixology enthusiasts. However, its large size might be cumbersome for storage, and it may not be the best option for sipping neat. If you enjoy your gin straight, consider trying Hendricks for a smoother experience.
