Pros
- •The product is known for its consistency and effectiveness in diesel exhaust fluid usage.
Cons
- •The jug design is poorly executed, causing significant user frustration.
- •The screw-on pour straw consistently leaks and misaligns with the breather port.
- •Cutting a hole in the jug may reduce spills but does not eliminate leaks entirely.
- •Packaging quality has been a general dissatisfaction across DEF brands, suggesting industry-wide issues.
- •Missing nozzles have been a significant problem, as they are supposed to be included with each purchase.
- •Experienced power train problems after using the product in a 2020 Chevy Duramax.
- •Unhelpful customer service and dismissive store associates add to user dissatisfaction.
- •Concerns about outdated products due to improper product rotation at the store.
Bottom Line
While the Blue Def DEF002-2PK Diesel Exhaust Fluid is appreciated for its consistency and effectiveness, the significant design flaws of the jug and issues with customer service and product rotation can be frustrating for users. If leak-free usage is crucial for you, it may be wise to explore other brands or products that address these jug design concerns.
