- •The included scraper's beveled edge works well for scraping food off the griddle.
- •The bottles with screw-on caps are useful and perform effectively.
- •Rounded corner edges help prevent scratching the cookware surface.
- •The scraper and oil containers are of good quality.
- •The bottles have twist-top caps that are practical during use.
Cons
- •The spatulas are very thin, flimsy, and bend easily with minimal pressure, making them unreliable for flipping or pressing.
- •The spatulas lack beveled edges, reducing effectiveness in scraping and food removal.
- •Handle bending during use increases the risk of accidents and concerns over durability.
- •The spatulas are overpriced given their poor construction and limited durability, especially compared to sturdier alternatives like those from Lowes.
- •The set's overall quality feels cheap, with limited effectiveness and construction issues.
- •Some reviews mention the spatulas need to be bent back into shape after use, highlighting their poor robustness.
- •The bottles' caps can be difficult to open or close when oily or slippery, which reduces ease of use.
- •The product arrived rusted and used, indicating quality or handling issues.
- •Consider buying spatulas separately for better durability, as the kit's spatulas are not reliable for regular or heavy-duty tasks.
Bottom Line
We think that the Blackstone Original 5-Piece Griddle Accessory Tool Kit offers some helpful tools like the scraper and oil bottles, but the spatulas fall noticeably short due to their flimsy build and poor durability. If you plan on regular use or flipping heavier items, you might want to consider investing in higher-quality spatulas separately. Alternatively, checking out more robust options from other brands, like those from Lowes, could save you from frequent replacements.
