- •Supports the health, growth, and vibrancy of trees and shrubs, keeping them green and thriving even during drought.
- •Systemic formula that’s easy to apply—no messy spraying required, just measure, mix, and pour around the tree.
- •Proven track record of success over multiple years, with users reporting no sick trees and strong recovery from pest damage.
- •Effectively eliminates tough pests like aphids, where other pesticides or natural remedies have failed.
- •Prevents honeydew buildup and blackening, helping trees maintain a clean appearance.
- •Also tackles fungal issues such as white spotty growth, particularly effective on crepe myrtles.
- •Simple, step-by-step instructions make it quick and painless to use.
- •Highly recommended by users for its reliable and lasting protection against a range of damaging insects.
Cons
- •Some users reported it was not effective against Emerald Ash Borer on Ash trees, a significant pest concern for those trees.
- •Works best when carefully applied in spring after the ground thaws and mulch is raked back, so timing and prep matter.
- •Requires annual application to maintain results—no “set it and forget it” permanent fix.
- •Limited to use on trees and shrubs; not a broad-spectrum pesticide for other garden areas.
Bottom Line
The BioAdvanced 701901 12 Month Tree and Shrub Protect and Feed Concentrate is a solid choice if you’re looking for convenient, year-long protection with the added bonus of tree feeding. It shines at preventing a variety of pests and diseases and is easy to apply systemically, which means less hassle for you. However, if Emerald Ash Borer control is a priority, you might want to explore specialized products focused specifically on that pest. Overall, for general tree and shrub health with minimal effort, this product delivers *great* value.
