- •Multiple ear tip sizes included, allowing most users to achieve a comfortable, near-perfect fit.
- •Long battery life per charge, with up to 8 hours of playback on earbuds plus additional charges from the pocket-sized case, totaling about 24 hours of use.
- •Simple one-touch pairing available for both Apple and Android devices, making connectivity straightforward when it works well.
- •Durable and user-friendly design that is easy to use and clean.
- •Button controls are well designed to prevent accidental input when adjusting the earbuds or wearing them.
- •Volume control can be customized through phone settings to improve listening experience.
Cons
- •Earbuds often do not stay securely in the ears, falling out frequently despite trying different fits.
- •Connectivity is unstable, with frequent cutting out and pairing issues, especially if not held close to the phone.
- •Transparency mode produces an annoying high-pitched whining noise.
- •ANC introduces an irritating low whooshing sound to some users.
- •Battery performance can be inconsistent: while playback time is advertised well, some report quick battery drain on the charging case.
- •Call quality is poor, with microphones not picking up voice clearly, causing frustrating communication on calls.
- •Sound balance can be uneven, sometimes too quiet or overly loud without easy on-device volume controls.
- •Overall experience falls short compared to cheaper wired alternatives or better wireless competitors.
- •Limited customization options compared to competitors offering app-based equalizers and noise control settings.
Bottom Line
The Beats Studio Buds Totally Wireless Noise Cancelling Earphones offer solid sound quality and ANC performance for their price range, with a sleek, practical design and decent battery life. However, unstable connectivity, poor call quality, and a fit that doesn’t suit everyone are notable drawbacks that may cause frustration. If you prioritize reliable wireless connections, secure fit, and superior call clarity, you might want to explore other earbuds with more customization and better stability. Still, if you want brand-name sound with convenient pairing and like to tweak controls via your phone settings, these could fit the bill.
