- •Good selection of ports, including USB-C and USB 4, offers convenient connectivity without needing adapters.

- •The keyboard offers comfortable key travel, enhancing typing experience.
Cons
- •The black chassis attracts fingerprints and smudges easily, making it challenging to keep clean.
- •Battery life tends to fall short of the advertised 14 hours, especially with high brightness or heavy use, and drains faster when gaming or under intensive tasks.
- •The screen’s glossy finish can cause glare in certain lighting conditions, requiring adjustments.
- •The keyboard backlight is somewhat dim even at maximum brightness, which may be an issue in darker environments.
- •The laptop can get warm during intensive workloads, causing noticeable fan noise; the fans can be loud when running at maximum speed.
- •Minor occasional lag in Windows File Explorer has been reported, likely related to the OS rather than hardware.
- •No touchscreen feature, which some buyers might miss for added versatility.
Bottom Line
The ASUS Vivobook S16 with AMD Ryzen AI 7 350 is a stylish, power-packed laptop geared towards users looking for strong performance, a stunning OLED display, and future-ready AI features in a portable package. However, if battery longevity and fingerprint resistance are top priorities for you, be prepared for some compromises. The dim keyboard backlight and occasional heat/fan noise could also be factors depending on your usage scenario. Overall, this laptop offers compelling value for professionals and students who want speed and vivid visuals without breaking the bank. If you are specifically after longer battery life or a touchscreen, you might want to explore other ASUS models or competitors, but for raw speed and display quality in this price range, the Vivobook S16 stands out.
