- •Compact, pocket-sized design makes it incredibly easy to carry for emergencies or daily use.
- •Built-in USB-C connector eliminates the need for extra charging cables, adding noticeable convenience on the go.
- •Supports fast charging up to 22.5W with compatible devices, significantly speeding up charge times.
- •Charges smartphones quickly, for example, boosting an iPhone 16 Pro from 70% to 100% in about 40 minutes.
- •Lightweight and travel-friendly, perfect for frequent flyers and outdoor use.
- •Battery capacity of 5000mAh provides roughly 50% of a full phone charge, enough for urgent top-ups and extended usage.
- •Additional USB-C port allows charging the power bank itself via standard cables or docking stations.
- •Modern design is sleek, unique, and well-constructed despite the small form factor.
- •Includes a battery indicator that makes it easy to monitor remaining charge.
- •Reliable and highly recommended for fast charging needs during travel and everyday situations.
Cons
- •Usable energy is around 12 Wh, so it only delivers about half a full phone charge due to voltage conversion and losses.
- •Flip-out USB-C connector is fragile and prone to breaking if dropped, which can limit durability.
- •Stand-by period has been reduced significantly (from about 25-30 minutes in older models to 20-30 seconds), limiting intermittent usage without pressing the power button repeatedly.
- •While charging is fast, the power bank cannot fully charge many phones in one go due to limited capacity.
- •May not be ideal if you want multiple full charges or long-term continuous use without recharging the bank itself.
- •Balances speed with efficiency, meaning it charges some devices more slowly but to preserve battery health.
Bottom Line
If you’re looking for a compact, stylish, and fast-charging power bank to give your phone a quick emergency boost without carrying extra cables, the Anker Nano 5000mAh 22.5W is an excellent choice. Its built-in USB-C connector and travel-friendly size make it perfect for on-the-go lifestyles. However, don’t expect multiple full charges or rugged durability around its flip-out plug, and be aware that recent models have reduced the useful stand-by time for intermittent charging. If you want more capacity with similar fast charging, consider exploring larger power banks, but for daily portability, this hits the sweet spot.
