Pros
- •Effectively removes mold, mildew, algae, and lichen from vinyl, aluminum siding, PVC lattice, brick, and other outdoor surfaces without needing a power washer.
- •Fast-acting formula that starts working within 10-20 minutes and can continue to clean even after rinsing.
- •Restores surfaces to a like-new appearance with clear before-and-after results, even on heavily soiled or stubborn mold areas.
- •Requires minimal scrubbing for stubborn spots and is versatile enough to clean fences, patios, walkways, kayaks, and artificial turf safely.
- •Dilutes with water (optimal mixing is 3 quarts water to 1 quart concentrate) to provide good coverage and maintain cleaning power without overuse.
- •Easy application with a garden pump or hose sprayer, reaching high areas up to the second story.
- •No strong or overpowering chemical odor upon use, and minimal risk of staining clothes with minor contact.
- •Comes as a convenient 2-pack, providing substantial quantity for multiple cleanup jobs.
- •The empty gallon containers are reusable for other purposes.
Cons
- •Sprayer issues are common; hose-end sprayers may require adjustment or replacement to avoid drips and uneven application.
- •Applying the cleaner unevenly or on a wet surface can cause streaks or splotches, impacting appearance temporarily.
- •Tough, heavily molded areas often need a second treatment for complete removal, which may require extra time and product.
- •The strong bleach smell calls for protective gear like safety glasses and old clothes to avoid skin and eye irritation.
- •Contains chlorine bleach (about 9.5% concentration undiluted), which can react dangerously if mixed with certain chemicals like vinegar—users must avoid mixing it with anything else.
- •Some users had serious safety incidents due to accidental chemical mixing and reported poor customer service, especially around returns and product confusion.
- •The product coverage is somewhat limited; the concentrate can empty quickly during application if not applied efficiently.
Bottom Line
