Cons
- •Calorie tracking tends to slightly overestimate during workouts

- •Vibration alerts during workouts can be weak and occasionally missed in intense exercise sessions
- •Requires companion app running for full connection benefits, though phone still connects without it
- •Workout interval notifications (e.g., HIIT) come as vibrations instead of sound alerts, reducing feedback clarity
- •Not a full Apple Watch replacement for iPhone users, but compatible with iOS
Bottom Line
The Amazfit Active 2 Sport Smart Watch offers an outstanding blend of style, fitness tracking features, and impressive battery life at a very budget-friendly price point. It’s a superb choice for fitness enthusiasts who want accurate heart rate and sleep monitoring coupled with a bright, customizable display and long-lasting battery that can handle over a week of typical use. While it lacks full texting capabilities and its SpO2 readings aren't always perfect, it excels in delivering solid smartwatch essentials without breaking the bank. If you’re looking for something more Apple Watch-like for iPhone users or want stronger vibration alerts during workouts, you might want to explore premium alternatives, but for most users, this watch hits the sweet spot between performance and price.
