How to Read Product Scores and Reviews

Understand what the product score, TLDR review, and sentiment analysis mean.

ShopSavvy gives every product a score and a summary review so you can quickly understand if it is worth buying.

The Product Score

The score (shown as a number out of 100 or a letter grade) reflects the overall quality based on analysis of reviews from across the internet. A higher score means more positive reviews.

The TLDR Review

Below the score, you will see a summary with:

  • Pros: The most commonly praised aspects of the product
  • Cons: The most common complaints
  • Bottom Line: A one-sentence verdict

This summary is generated by analyzing hundreds or thousands of real customer reviews and distilling them into the key points.

Sentiment Analysis

Some products also show a sentiment breakdown — a visual chart showing how positive, negative, or neutral the reviews are overall.

Most Mentioned Phrases

This section shows the topics that reviewers talk about most, helping you understand what matters about this product (battery life, build quality, ease of use, etc.).

Tips

  • The score and review are based on real customer feedback, not paid promotions.
  • If a product has very few reviews, the score may be less reliable. Look for products with many reviews for the most trustworthy scores.
