So, the manufacturer says that Glow With Us 4' green glow sticks should last between 8 to 12 hours. That's pretty standard for glow sticks, but our research shows the actual time can really depend on how you use them and the conditions they're in.
Some folks are happy with how long the glow sticks last and say they meet the 8-12 hour promise. But others have noticed they don't always last that long. For example, there were cases where the glow was really strong at first, but then it faded quicker than people expected. One person even mentioned their glow stick started dimming after just 15 minutes and only lasted about an hour.
A lot of this can depend on the temperature. Colder weather might make them dimmer or not last as long, while warmer conditions could make them glow brighter but fade faster. So storing them in a cool, dark spot before using them might help them last longer.
All in all, while the 8-12 hour lifespan is a good estimate, it's smart to keep these factors in mind. They can be great for quick uses like party decorations or safety markers, especially in warm or lively settings.
Just be prepared for some variation in how long they actually glow. Adjusting your expectations a bit can help avoid surprises.
