The Short Answer

No, your S25 Ultra case won't work. The phones look nearly identical, but Samsung changed just enough to make your old case a poor fit.

Why Your Case Won't Fit

It comes down to numbers. The S26 Ultra is:

• 0.8mm taller than the S25 Ultra
• 0.9mm narrower
• 0.3mm thinner

That might not sound like much, but case manufacturers design tolerances in fractions of millimeters. A case that's 0.9mm too wide creates noticeable wobble.

It's Not Just the Size

Samsung also redesigned several elements:

The camera bump is different. The S26 Ultra has a new raised camera island layout. If you use your old case, the camera cutout won't line up properly—your lenses might not be fully protected.

The corners are rounder. Samsung gave the S26 Ultra more ergonomic, curved corners. Cases designed for the S25 Ultra's sharper edges will leave gaps.

Buttons moved slightly. You might find yourself pressing through case material instead of through the cutouts.

The S Pen slot shifted. An S25 case could partially block your stylus.

What About Screen Protectors?

Same story—they won't transfer. The S26 Ultra's display is slightly different in size and curvature. Your old screen protector would be misaligned, leaving edges unprotected.

S26 Ultra cases were available immediately at launch from all the major brands. Look for options from Samsung, OtterBox, Spigen, ZAGG, ESR, and others. Make sure whatever you buy specifically says "Galaxy S26 Ultra"—don't trust anything marketed as "fits most Galaxy Ultra models."
