In the board game "Marvel Villainous: Infinite Power," you can actually play as some of the most well-known Marvel villains. The manufacturer lists playable characters as Thanos, Hela, Ultron, Killmonger, and Taskmaster. Each villain has their own unique goals and special abilities, which makes every game feel different.
The aim is to achieve your villain's goals before anyone else. So, whether you're trying to snag all the Infinity Stones as Thanos or take over Asgard as Hela, there's a unique storyline and set of rules for each character that keeps things interesting.
"Marvel Villainous" works for 2 to 4 players. According to our research, if you play with fewer people, you can really focus on your villain’s strategies without a lot of distractions. But starting with three players might be better for more dynamic interactions and a deeper game, according to some folks who've tried it.
People have mentioned that while it’s good with two players, adding more can make the game more engaging due to the extra interactions and planning needed. Knowing the ins and outs of the game and your character's abilities also helps a lot for a smoother experience.
If strategy games and the Marvel universe are your thing, "Marvel Villainous" could be a great pick. It’s about more than just beating the other villains—it's about outsmarting everyone and mastering the strategy tied to your character.
Whether you're playing alone or partnering with a friend, it can definitely spice up your game nights. Just remember that a good villain always has a plan, so go ahead and show off your villainous skills!
