The Dupli-Color ASF0104 Scratch Fix All-In-1 Touch-Up Paint is great for dealing with minor scratches and chips on your vehicle's paint. The manufacturer describes it as having everything you need in one package to make touch-ups pretty straightforward. It comes with an abrasive tip for prepping scratches, a precision pen tip for detail work, a brush for bigger chips, and a clear-coat applicator to seal everything up.
From our research, it seems that the color matching with the ASF0104 is impressive. Folks have pointed out that it blends really well with existing paint, with some saying things like it "matched perfectly to the car’s color." That makes it a solid pick if you want those small touch-ups to be as close to the original look as possible.
Plus, having both the paint and clear coat in one applicator is a bonus—makes the process a lot easier, especially if you’re not super experienced in car repairs.
However, keep your expectations in check. While it's excellent for minor scratches and chips, it won't replace a professional paint job for bigger or more severe damage. There's a bit of variability in the paint's consistency—some have found it a little watery—but for small flaws, most people find it pretty effective and easy to use.
Just make sure you prep your car's surface properly before using it. The abrasive tip will help with that, and it's key for getting the paint to stick well. Also, follow the instructions on which tip or brush to use for different sized scratches or chips and finish off with the clear coat for added protection and shine.
In short, the Dupli-Color ASF0104 is handy for taking care of those annoying little imperfections on your car's paint. It's a good option for DIY folks managing small nicks, as long as you remember that bigger damage might still need a pro's touch.
