The Mudder clock movement kit is pretty flexible and helps you make all kinds of clocks. Whether you're into DIY projects or just want to fix up an old clock, this kit could be a good fit. It comes with high torque long shaft mechanisms in different lengths—13mm, 20mm, and 28mm—based on how the manufacturer describes it. A nice thing about these kits is that they operate silently, which makes them great for places where peace and quiet are important, like bedrooms and libraries.
From what we've found, these clock mechanisms are dependable and don't make any noise. People who have used them often mention how quiet they are, which is perfect if you're looking to maintain a peaceful environment. There are quite a few mentions of the ticking sound disappearing from old clocks, thanks to this kit. Plus, the second hand runs smoothly without any noise, which is always a nice touch.
The kit also lets you get creative with different types of clocks because of the variety in shaft lengths. You can work on a wall clock, a desk clock, or even try out a unique design that suits your style. It gives you the freedom to create your own custom clock, which can really add a personal touch to your space.
But, keep in mind, there are some things you might run into. Some feedback suggests that putting the clock hands onto the movement can be tricky, and occasionally, parts might not always come in the package. It's a good idea to check everything when the kit arrives and follow the instructions closely.
Basically, if you want to make or fix a clock that fits into a calm setting, the Mudder clock movement kit could work well. It offers quiet, reliable operation and the chance to experiment with various clock designs, bringing both function and serenity to your projects.
