The Nikko Manga Pen Nib Maru Pen, especially the Super Polishing Type, is quite popular among manga artists and illustrators for its precision and quality. This nib is designed with a super fine point and a polished finish, which helps the ink flow smoothly for those clean lines that are crucial in detailed artwork.

Now, this nib doesn't use a specific kind of ink by itself. Instead, it works well with various inks, so artists can pick the ink that best fits their style or medium. Our research suggests that the Maru Pen Nib is often paired with inks typically used in manga and comic art, like different shades of black and sepia.

What's kind of interesting is that people sometimes use it with unique ink colors, like green, to add something special to their art. But overall, the nib isn't restricted to any specific ink colors or brands.

Usually, you get multiple nibs in a set, which is handy if you're drawing a lot and need spares quickly. They're made of durable polycarbonate, which keeps it lightweight and can help reduce hand fatigue—really useful whether you're just starting out or have been drawing for years.

In short, the Maru Pen Nib, particularly in this Super Polishing version, is crafted by Nikko, a respected Japanese brand. It's great for artists who want precision in their manga artwork.
