The Tubus Grand Tour Pannier Rack works well with 26-inch and 28-inch wheel bikes. This makes it pretty versatile if you're using bikes that fit either of these sizes.

In terms of carrying capacity, the manufacturer sets the limit at 26 kg (around 57.3 lbs), which should be enough for most touring trips. It's designed with a narrow loading surface to keep things stable, even if you're hauling heavier stuff.

Plus, there's a second loading level that lets you use tension belts for extra securing options—pretty handy for organizing your gear.

Our research even found that it's been tested with loads up to 40 kg, which speaks to its durability, even though you're officially supposed to stick to 26 kg.

The rack's tubular design isn't just about looks; it makes mounting pretty straightforward. The mounting bridge helps secure it firmly on the bike, and this simplicity is something a lot of folks appreciate.

All in all, this rack's got a solid reputation with touring cyclists, thanks to its strong build and thoughtful design. If you're gearing up for some serious cycling adventures, it's worth considering.
