The Household Essentials 195 Shirt Folding Board is a useful little gadget for folding T-shirts, polos, and dress shirts. According to the manufacturer's product description, it's meant for a range of shirt sizes, though it can struggle a bit with the really big ones.
From our research, it's best suited for small to medium-sized shirts, so it works great for kids' clothes and smaller adult shirts. That said, when you get to large sizes—especially XL and beyond—it can get a bit tricky.
Some people have found that shirts up to XL can usually be managed without much hassle, but once you hit XXL and larger, you often have to tweak things a bit manually. The board's lines don't always match up perfectly with the extra fabric of those bigger sizes, which means you'll likely need to adjust a bit to get a neat fold.
For example, one person mentioned that folding XL shirts is doable, but requires some attention to size adjustments. On the flip side, another person felt the board was not quite up to the task for larger adult shirts, suggesting it's really in its element with smaller garments.
So, if you're folding average-sized or smaller shirts, this board can save you time and keep your closet looking neat. For the bigger shirts, it's not perfect, but with a bit of practice, you'll likely still find it useful. Playing around with your technique on those XXL shirts might help you manage the size limitations.
All in all, the Household Essentials 195 Shirt Folding Board gets points for being simple and a time-saver, even if it has some size quirks. If you're up for adjusting a bit with larger sizes, it could be a nice addition to your laundry setup.
