The ANCIRS 10 Pack Needle File Set includes a nice variety of file shapes that are really handy for detailed work. These are the shapes you'll get in the set: round, tapered, half-round, barrette, crossing, knife, equaling, warding, and three-square files. These different shapes can help you with tasks like smoothing, filing, carving, or shaping stuff like metal, wood, and plastic.
From our research, both professionals and hobbyists dig this set for dealing with intricate work. Someone mentioned using them to work on Warhammer figurines%E2%80%94specifically smoothing insignias and small details. Others found them useful for smoothing out ceramics.
These files are made from sturdy carbon steel, which makes them durable enough for a range of materials, but keep in mind they're pretty small—you'll want to be gentle to avoid breaking them. People suggest using a push motion while filing to keep them sharp and last longer.
While there are a few mentions that not all files might be fully serrated, most feedback is positive about their quality and sturdiness.
So, if you need a precise and versatile file set, this one seems to be a solid choice for detail-focused projects.
