The ProForce Champion Warrior Kama is made with a 14-inch handle from lightweight hardwood and a 7-inch vented aluminum blade. The manufacturer notes that the blades aren't sharp, so they're safe for martial arts forms and demos.
There's a shiny holographic covering on the blades, making them pop in tournaments. Even though some folks mistakenly think the handles are aluminum, our research shows they're actually hardwood—it’s the blades that are aluminum, and that confusion probably comes from the way the product description focuses on those aluminum blades.
When it comes to how they feel, people have mixed opinions. Some love how easy they are to handle during forms because they’re lightweight. But others feel they might be too light for more intense training and worry they might break with tough use. It seems like they’re best suited for styles that emphasize speed and performance over heavy-duty training.
The kamas have an average rating of 3.8 out of 5 stars from 24 reviews, with many thinking they’re great for visual appeal and non-contact practice. So if you're all about agility and standout visuals in demos or competitions, this pair might be just right.
But if you need something more durable for hard training, you might want to look at other options. Overall, they're great for those focusing on agility and appearance in their martial arts practice rather than heavy impact training.
