The KitchenAid Artisan Series 5 Quart Tilt Head Stand Mixer has a 5-quart capacity. That's plenty of room for mixing up dough for about nine dozen cookies or several loaves of bread at once.
Just so you know, the manufacturer highlights that this mixer sports a robust motor paired with 10 speed settings, which is handy for adjusting to your specific mixing needs. It also features this cool 59-point planetary mixing action, making sure everything gets mixed in nicely without you having to scrape the bowl sides constantly.
From what we found, the mixer's sturdy, all-metal construction is often praised for its durability. Plus, its sleek stainless steel bowl is a nice bonus that fits perfectly into most kitchen designs.
The tilt-head design is also quite practical, letting you easily add ingredients or switch attachments without much hassle. There's a handy pouring shield included as well, which can help keep your kitchen a bit cleaner by reducing splatters when handling floury or liquid ingredients.
On the flip side, some folks mentioned it can be a bit noisy, especially when you're going hard on tougher doughs like bread or pizza. There were also a few whispers about newer models not being just as durable as the older ones, possibly due to material changes.
Overall, the KitchenAid Artisan Series mixer is pretty well-loved and seen as a trusty, stylish tool in the kitchen. It's a great choice whether you're just cooking casually or diving into more adventurous baking projects.
