So, if you're wondering about the battery life of the Texas Instruments TI-Nspire CX Graphing Calculator, here's the scoop: It's got a rechargeable lithium-ion battery that does a pretty good job. According to our research, this battery lasts about two to three weeks on one charge if you're using it the way most people do.
The manufacturer suggests plugging it in every couple of weeks to keep it running smoothly. Plus, the calculator has some smart power-saving tricks, like screen dimming and sleep mode, to help stretch that battery life even further.
Just a heads up, this model—TI-Nspire CX—doesn’t have a Computer Algebra System (CAS). That could be a plus if you’re taking exams like the SAT or ACT, where CAS calculators might not be allowed.
But if you need CAS for your math work, you might want to check out the TI-Nspire CX-CAS model instead.
For most high school and college math classes, though, the TI-Nspire CX should have you covered, especially when you're looking to avoid frequent charging breaks.
