The battery life on the Garmin Venu 2 is generally impressive, according to the manufacturer's product description. It can last up to 11 days in smartwatch mode. If you're using GPS with music, plan on around 8 hours, but if it's just GPS without music, you might get about 19 hours. Keep in mind, your usage affects this.
From our research, folks seem to find the battery life pretty solid. For example, someone who regularly does activities like weight lifting or running almost daily reported getting about nine days between charges. Another person mentioned they could stretch it to two weeks by using it mainly in basic mode, avoiding GPS and ANT+ features.
However, they did note that using those features drains the battery faster.
But it's not all the same for everyone. Some people said the battery lasted 3 to 4 days, especially if they're heavy users. This includes having the high-res display always on or frequently using GPS, which uses more power. Knowing that keeping the AMOLED display always on or using GPS continuously can drain the battery faster is important if you want to maximize the time between charges.
So, if you want a smartwatch with good battery life and fitness tracking, striking a balance with your usage on the Garmin Venu 2 is key.
Tweaking settings like screen brightness, display, and GPS usage can help extend battery life. Whether you're a fitness buff or just need a reliable smartwatch, considering these factors can make a big difference with the Venu 2.
