Hey there! The Faber-Castell Gelatos Dolce II Gift Set comes with a pretty cool selection of 28 colors. These colors are known for their smooth and creamy texture, and you can use them on surfaces like paper, canvas, or even wood. Plus, you can mix them with water for some neat watercolor effects!
Some of the standout colors in this set include Squid Ink, Acqua Dolce, and Blood Orange. Along with these vibrant hues, you also get some handy tools—a paintbrush, a palette knife, and three stamps—so you can really get creative with your artwork.
According to our research, lots of folks appreciate the wide variety of colors, which allows you to create everything from bold, vivid artwork to more gentle, subtle pieces. However, if you're blending with water, you might notice some stroke marks if you're not careful.
One thing that's a bit of a bummer is that there's no instructional booklet included, which some people expected from the packaging. So, if you're new to using Gelatos, you might need to do a bit of research or experimentation to get the hang of it.
All in all, despite a couple of minor drawbacks, this set seems to be a good deal for those looking to explore different colors and techniques.
It's a great pick for both beginners and experienced artists who want to try something new!
