If you're wondering about the preset programs on the Vitamix A2500, here's the scoop. The blender comes with three handy presets designed to make your life easier: Smoothies, Hot Soups, and Frozen Desserts.
First up is the Smoothies setting, which is great for whipping up smooth, nutritious drinks. Whether you're tossing in fruits, greens, or a bit of both, this program automatically adjusts the speed so you get a perfectly blended smoothie each time.
The Hot Soups program is pretty cool—despite its name! You can actually make steaming hot soup right in the blender. The blades spin fast enough to heat up your ingredients through friction. According to our research, it does a solid job blending everything to a smooth consistency while heating it to the perfect serving temperature, all without needing the stove.
Lastly, there's the Frozen Desserts setting. This one's a favorite for making creamy ice creams or sorbets. Just pop in your frozen fruits and other ingredients, hit the button, and voilà—a smooth frozen treat is yours.
These programs automatically adjust based on the container size and stop when they're done, making them super convenient to use. The smart design of this blender means it fits well into any culinary routine, according to the manufacturer's product description and our research findings.
Overall, whether you love whipping up smoothies, making soup on the fly, or enjoying a homemade frozen dessert, the Vitamix A2500 has some pretty nifty tricks up its sleeve.
